Medicare Rebates
$93.35 rebate with a GP provided mental health care plan.
$137.05 rebate with a GP provided mental health care plan when seeing a Clinical Psychologist
You must obtain a GP referral prior to your first appointment in order to receive Medicare rebates.
Private Health Insurance
Patients without a mental health care plan may be able to claim a rebate through their private health insurer – please speak to your provider for rebate amounts.

Low Cost Counselling
Our Provisional Psychologists are offer low cost counselling with no mental health care plan or referral required.
Provisional Psychologists have finished their 5 years of study and are in their 6th and final year, where they are required to reach a target of client contact hours before they get their full registration. A provisional for instance, will have a current client load of 20+ clients and experience throughout their various placements with diverse mental health presentations across all age groups.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Unfortunately, for some time now we have been experiencing a high number of cancellations at short notice (under 24 hours). This has been placing strain upon our service provision capacity, particularly within the context of unprecedented demand for appointments. In light of this we are taking further steps to discourage last minute cancellations.
We will apply our cancellation and non-attendance fee which will be the standard full session fee for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour’s notice.
For appointments booked on Mondays we will require clients to let us know that they are cancelling by 5 pm Friday as our offices are unattended out of hours.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are hopeful that this change will help discourage last minute cancellations, and in turn enable us to deliver consistent and timely appointments for our clients and efficiently utilise available appointment slots and cater to the high demand for services. Cancellation fees will need to be paid before your next appointment with your psychologist.
Please keep in mind that all in-person appointments can be shifted to Telehealth (phone or video), even at the last minute. This can sometimes be a useful way to avoid unnecessarily cancelling a session. Please call reception on 8838 8687 to organise this.
