Bhavi Patel

Narre Warren

Bhavi is a dedicated provisional psychologist that aims to foster a safe and compassionate therapeutic relationship with her clients. She values a collaborative and strengths-based approach, encouraging clients to explore their challenges, develop coping strategies and achieve their goals.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, she passionately supports culturally diverse populations, creating inclusive spaces where individuals feel understood and supported in their mental health journey.

Bhavi has a keen understanding of the specific needs of both clients and their families. This informs her tailored therapeutic interventions that draw from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment-based therapy (ACT) as well as a range of other evidence-based modalities. She has particular interest in providing support for anxiety, depression, trauma, family and relationship dynamics and stress management for clients across the lifespan. Bhavi has extensive experience in conducting a variety of assessments, ranging from cognitive and educational assessments to specialised assessments for Autism and ADHD.

 
 

Tracy Wang

Tracy is a registered general psychologist who does therapy for adults. She has experience working with the forensic population, in an EAP setting, private practice, and conducting IQ assessments. Tracy thinks her style can be best described as warm, genuine, and authentic. She tries to be herself and personable with her clients, and builds rapport and trust with clients quickly. Tracy can be also quite adaptive in her style and approaches, depending on each client’s unique individual needs and preferences. 

Tracy combines multiple modalities in her therapy, including schema therapy, emotionally focused individual therapy, principles from ISTDP (intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy), motivational interviewing, and strength-based approaches. She believes every individual has their own unique values, strengths, and intuition, and really tries to help clients build their awareness of these. 

Tracy has a special interest in culture-related issues, and the role of culture and ethnicity in each individual’s psychological suffering. Born in China and migrated to Australia in high school, she has unique insight into the impacts of cultural and migration issues in culturally-diverse clients living in Australia. Tracy can also conduct therapy in Mandarin.

Mona is a dedicated psychologist with significant experience in supporting clients across various age groups who have faced a wide range of mental health challenges and traumatic experiences, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and neurodivergent disorders.

Mona completed her Bachelor of Psychology with Honors and subsequently pursued a Master of Counselling. She skilfully applies therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

Mona's deep commitment is rooted in her client-centred approach, where she prioritizes the progress and well-being of her clients in her therapeutic practice. In addition to English, Mona is proficient in both Farsi and Dari.

 
 

Shakil Grenade

Shakil is a registered psychologist with experience in multiple educational settings and is passionate about working with adults, adolescents, and children presenting with anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, work related stress, family issues, and relationship problems.

He is trained in administering evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness Techniques.

Sessions with Shakil will be respectful, culturally sensitive, and non-judgemental. His collaborative approach focuses on creating a welcoming therapeutic environment for all people. He strives to support his clients in creating meaningful growth and achieving their desired needs and goals.

Shakil was born in Australia to migrant parents, and he speaks English and French fluently. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, and a Master of Professional Psychology. He is about to finish his second master’s degree in Professional Psychology Practice.

 
 

Eliza Doumakis

Eliza is a qualified psychologist who has experience working with clients across the lifespan. She aims to provide a safe and comforting space to work collaboratively and non-judgmentally through her client’s difficulties.

Eliza uses evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Client-centred Therapy to help clients struggling with a range of mental health issues including, but not limited to anxiety and depression.

Eliza also has an interest and experience in assessments, as she believes they provide invaluable information for making appropriate recommendations for those who may require further support.

 
 

Caitlin Anthony

Caitlin is a Registered Psychologist with a background in both mental health and the education setting. She works with adults presenting with diverse problems, including Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive disorders, Stress, Family Violence, Depression, Grief and Relationship difficulties. 

Caitlin uses a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach. Working collaboratively, Caitlin tailors her approach to best fit each individuals’ unique challenges and preferences. She believes that therapy is useful for building insight and personal growth which empowers individuals to develop helpful skills and strategies for wellbeing. Caitlin draws on a variety of frameworks such as; Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness based approaches and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). 

Caitlin believes that therapy is useful to everyone and aims to de-stigmatise help-seeking.   

 
 

Nikki Pascarl

Nikki has over thirteen years experience working with adults in community services between mental health, disability, and alcohol and other drug services. She believes strongly in an empowering, person centred approach, and working collaboratively with people.

She is experienced in treating a range of mental health conditions including mood disorders, anxiety disorders and trauma-based presentations, with particular expertise treating borderline personality disorder/traits, comorbid substance use and mental health conditions, in addition to treating people with forensic histories. Nikki engages a variety of therapeutic styles, ranging from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Nikki has a direct therapeutic style which is always combined with a strong sense of empathy and compassion. She is passionate about treating people using evidence-based approaches from all aspects of life, especially those who have complex needs.

Monique is a qualified psychologist with a warm and gentle nature. She offers an empathetic, client-centred approach to foster a respectful and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Monique utilises a range of evidenced based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), among many others. She has a range of experience in various mental health settings, including NDIS support services and crisis counselling.

Monique has an interest in working with couples and individuals who have been impacted by relationship concerns, trauma, stress and anxiety, and other mental health conditions to support them with their therapeutic goals. 

 
 

Chantelle Shanmugaratnam

Chantelle is a psychologist who has experience providing therapeutic support across the lifespan, especially assisting children, adolescents and families - helping with depression, anxiety, stress, alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, relationship difficulties, conflict resolution and self-esteem. She has prior experience working in AOD, clinical, mobile/home and school settings. 

Chantelle works with a client focus, tailoring her approach to the client's beliefs, attitudes, insight and developmental stage. She hopes to build a genuine therapeutic relationship - seeing this as a essential component to making positive changes.

Chantelle is passionate about helping clients overcome significant hardships and instilling hope for the future.
